The Greatest Love Story

The Creator of the universe, the one who measures the heavens in the span of his hand, the one who names each star and calls forth the constellations, chose to enter humanity and sacrifice himself so we could be reconciled to him and enjoy eternity with him. The moment God proclaimed "Let there be Light" he already knew the exact moment that his only Son would enter creation as a man to become our savior. He knew the exact moment that his Son would be beaten and raised up on a cross to suffer an excruciating death. And yet he proceeded anyway. We are the crown jewel of his creation, the apple of his eye, he dances over us and loves us in ways we cannot comprehend. As followers of Jesus we are clothed in his righteousness, and we have been healed by his wounds. Healing is not a bonus, but part of salvation itsef. This gift of Salvation and the gift of healing cannot be separated, and it is given to anyone who places their faith in Jesus. This should overwhelm us every single day as we strive to walk in a way that shows the world who our God really is.

But it was because of our rebelious deeds that he was pierced and because of our sins that he was crushed. He endured the punishment that made us completely whole, and in his wounding we found our healing Isaiah 53:5 (TPT)
